Canadian triathlete Angela Naeth began experiencing fatigue and other debilitating symptoms as she transitioned out of the training season in November 2017. Diagnosed months later with Lyme and two co-infections (Babesia and Bartonella), she went on to finish eight at the ironman World Championship in 2018 before needing to undergo moths of treatment.
