Dr. Blum is a 2014 Bay Area Lyme Foundation Emerging Leader Award winner and fellow at Stanford University in the laboratory of Dr. William Robinson, where she is currently working on DNA sequencing of human antibody responses to Borrelia burgdorferi infection. She received her Ph.D. in immunology from Cornell University in the laboratory of Dr. Judith Appleton studying parasitic pathogens and infectious diseases.
